On 1 June 2021, the European Commission held a press conference to launch the EU Tax Observatory, with Paolo Gentiloni, European Commissioner for Economic Affairs; Paul Tang and Sven Giegold, MEPs and members of the European Parliament’s Subcommittee on Tax Affairs, and Gabriel Zucman, Director of the EU Tax Observatory. They presented the missions of the European Tax Observatory, its work programme for the coming year, as well as our first report, which can be downloaded here.
