On November 30, 2021, the EU Tax Observatory organized an online conference on “Tax competition in the European Union: a major issue?” with Markus Ferber, Eloi Flamant, Sarah Godar, and Paul Tang.

The conference was moderated by Jan Strupczewski. Our report “New Forms of Tax Competition in the European Union: An Empirical Investigation” was presented by co-authors Eloi Flamant and Sarah Godar, followed by a discussion on “Tax Competition in the European Union: What can and should be done? “. The conference ended with an exchange between the authors of the report, the panelists and the audience.
